Spice Substitution Chart


Occasionally you will find yourself in a situation where you are out of a specified spice used in a recipe. This chart will help you choose substitutions that work. Whenever substituting, keep in mind that the flavor will not be exactly the same as in the original recipe. It's always wise to start your substitutions with 1/2 the specified amount and then adjust to your own personal preferences.
