Mm Mm Mm Smothered Green Beans



Ingredients
12- 14 Thick Slices Peppered Bacon Chopped
1 C. White Onions, Chopped or Minced
2 1/2 Tsp. Minced Garlic ~OR~ 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced   
2 1/2 lbs. Fresh Green Beans, trimmed 
1 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
2 C. Water
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 Pinches Ground Black Pepper
Directions:
1. Cook the bacon in a large, deep skillet - Over Med-High Heat. Stir in Onions, Garlic & Red Pepper Flakes; let cook for 1 minute. 

2. Stir in Green Beans & water. Let the Beans cook until the water evaporates and the beans are tender - add more water if needed until the beans are tender (I find that I have to do this occasionally). Season with Salt & Pepper to taste and serve hot!
